The Non-Pneumatic Tyre is designed to remove the risk of punctures and sudden air loss. The Run Flat Insert is engineered to protect the vehicle, driver and passengers in the event of a tyre blowout. When air pressure is suddenly lost, the insert supports the vehicle’s load and helps keep the vehicle stable, so the driver does not lose directional control. Topower’s run flat insert range is divided into three types:
- Rubber Insert: a rubber-based support ring mounted inside the tyre that carries the vehicle’s load after pressure loss.
- Polymer Run Flat Insert: a polymer-based insert designed for high strength and impact resistance.
- Beadlock: a system that helps keep the tyre securely seated on the rim after a blowout.
